OMK Fall Exhibition (Høstutstilling)
Elisabeth Svendby Holen

Oslo Malerklubb had their fall exhibition opening yesterday, and it was such a wonderful experience.
The group has existed, and been a fantastic place for artists to meet, since 1947.

I think there are more than 80 paintings on display, and a max of 2 per member, that IS a lot of artists work. And the really beautiful thing is that this is an organization for EVERYONE. All ages, backgrounds and skill levels.
It was so much fun getting to know some more painters in the area, and I had some great conversations.
I have 2 pieces in the show, "Inne i skogen" (Inside the forest) and a repainted version of "Blomsterbedet" (The flower bed). They are both 40x50cm oil paintings. I really love how they hung them together like that, and I am so proud to be a part of this show.
The address is OMK Galleri, Briskebyveien 50, Oslo (in the back yard). The exhibition is up until 4pm (16.00) Sunday 19th of October.
Let me know if you have any questions about it, or interest in these paintings.
