Shipping policy

 

I have placed my order, how soon will I receive my painting?
Original paintings will be packed and shipped within 5-7 working days. Within Norway pieces are sent by Posten or Bring depending on size. Most Norwegian deliveries arrive within 2-3 days from time of shipping. Please allow 9 working days in total. If you need delivery by a specific date, please contact me first to make sure it can reach you in time. There may be an extra charge for rush deliveries according to your requirements.

I have placed my order, how soon will I receive my print?
All prints are made on the printer location closest to the address you have submitted with your order. Usually they are printed within 1-3 days of your order, and sent to you subsequently. This will normally take an additional 3-5 days, but please allow up to 10 days in busy seasons.

Can I collect my artwork from your studio?
Yes. You are very welcome to collect your purchase from my studio at Økern in Oslo. Please contact me by email at svendby@gmail.com to arrange a time to meet. Prints are only available from the website.

Is Shipping included?
There is free shipping on fine art prints, and on canvas paintings within Norway. Other artwork and products has the shipping cost added at checkout based on the size of the work and your location. 
Disclaimer: I reserve the right to add extra cost to shipping on certain artwork or areas of the world if the estimated cost varies a lot from the real one once I contact the shipping agents. I will contact you in these cases, and you are free to back out of the sale and get a full refund if you wish at that time.

What about large or high value artworks?
I appreciate this is a high value purchase – and a piece of work I have have spent much time on! It’s important for both of us to make sure it is transported safely. 

Can you ship internationally?
Yes, I can ship to most countries, although it will take longer to arrive depending on your location. If your location is restricted once you get to the checkout you need a bespoke courier service. Message me with your details and the piece you would like and I can give you shipping options.

International shipments may be subject to import duties and taxes according to the laws of the destination country. Any additional charges are at the customer’s expense. We have no control over these charges and accept no responsibility for additional charges.

Shipping costs contribute towards packing supplies, labour and transit fees.
